Our Safety Commitment

Safety and Health maintenance is Cementcal’s top priority and value, which we demonstrate in both in our ethical code and in our daily work routines.

To create a safe, accident-free working environment, we invest time and resources to detect and prevent safety and health hazards, and conduct crucial ongoing safety training for our staff and contractors. This ensures real-time secure sites, safe operation of advanced and innovative tools and guaranteed safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, properties and the general public.

Our Safety Commitment is anchored as an integral part of our corporate responsibility and embedded in clear-cut guidelines, as stated in the following clauses in our policy:

  • When performing any work within Cementcal, ensuring safety is a precondition. Each and every one of us must work safely, in accordance with safety rules and regulations, and promptly report any safety concerns
  • Company managers at all levels are responsible for the implementation of safety and health policies. Each manager is responsible for the safety supervision of their respective fields. It is mandatory that they be actively involved in implementing our policies, take part in safety patrols, safety talks and raise safety issues at meetings.
  • Each and every one of us should give a personal example of these matters. Each manager must demonstrate a personal example of strict adherence to safety issues, including uncompromising observance of legal provisions, regulations, orders, company procedures, hygiene and environmental regulations.
  • Cementcal views all its managers and employees as partners in promoting Corporate safety. Management will actively share safety issues with employees and provide them with relevant, ongoing training and learning resources so that they understand all safety instructions and perform their work safely.
  • Cementcal will continuously allocate resources to improve its safety and hygiene activities, constantly reduce work risks and hazards, with systematic investigation and conclusion drawing from relevant case studies.
  • Cementcal will continue to conduct risk surveys and examinations by systematically identifying and evaluating risk factors, while taking measures to reduce and minimize risks and hazards as required.
  • Cementcal operates according to an annual plan along with controlled advanced measuring management tools, in compliance with the strictest Local and Global standards.
  • Cementcal’s management will guide the conduct of ongoing safety audits at all its activity sites to examine deficiencies and supervise the extent to which safety requirements are met. Audit results will be documented and discussed by Cementcal’s Safety Committee.
