The South Port Railway Connection project, spans a 3-kilometer route within the Ashdod Port area. This project involves constructing railway connections that will integrate the new “South Port” in Ashdod into the national railway network, facilitating the transportation of heavy cargo to the new port while reducing truck traffic in the area.
